SKYLIGHTS AND SUN TUNNELS

On October 16, 2012, the Design Review Board (DRB) approved the addition of skylights and sun tunnels with the stipulations shown below to the Newport Shores cluster standards.   See DRB approval letter below or click here for a larger view.

Before installing skylights or sun tunnels all residents are required to submit an application to RA as noted in the Reston Association Design Review Guidelines (www.reston.org) and obtain RA approval of the same.   Applications conforming to Cluster skylight and sun tunnel standards can be reviewed and approved at the RA staff level.  Applications for skylights or sun tunnels not conforming to the Cluster standards must be reviewed by the Design Review Board.   For more information or to submit an application contact:
