AWNINGS
On February 26, 2013, the Design Review Board (DRB) of Reston Association approved the addition of awnings (motorized or manual crank, aluminum frame, SunSetter or equal) to the Newport Shores cluster standards. See DRB approval letter below or click here for a larger view.
Before installing awnings all residents are required to submit an application to RA as noted in the Reston Association Design Review Guidelines (www.reston.org) and obtain RA approval of the same. Applications conforming to Cluster awning standards can be reviewed and approved at the RA staff level. Applications for awnings not conforming to the cluster standards must be reviewed by the Design Review Board. For more information or to submit an application contact:
