PATIO DOORS
The Design Review Board (DRB) of Reston Association has approved adding the following replacement patio doors to the Newport Shores cluster standards:
 
Approved addition to cluster standards for patio doors in Newport Shores Cluster, to include the following:
• Pella, hinged, no grids, color: Eldridge Gray (addition)
• Trim capping, aluminum coil, color: Eldridge Gray (addition)
• Bi-pass/sliding glass doors: OX (operating-fixed) or XO (fixed-operating) swinging configuration, color: SW Pewter
(existing)
• Out-swinging French door: OX (operating-fixed), XO (fixed-operating) or XX (fixed-fixed) swinging configuration,
color: SW Pewter (existing) with the following stipulations:
1. Pella replacement doors must be color: Eldridge Gray;
2. Replacement door must exactly match the existing in overall dimensions, and
3. Trim capping must be installed at the same time as the doors with the approved material and there must be no
alteration of the design, dimension and profile of the existing trim, as proposed.
