ROOF SHINGLES
At its meeting of March 23, 2021, Reston Association approved revision to cluster standards for roofing in Newport Shores Cluster, to include the following:
• CertainTeed, Landmark, architectural shingles, color: Colonial Slate (addition)
• CertainTeed, Landmark Pro, architectural shingles, color: Max Def Colonial Slate (addition)
• CertainTeed, Independence, 3-tab, color: Colonial Slate (existing, discontinued) with the following stipulations:
1. Homeowners must bring their roofs into conformance with the new cluster standard roofing options upon their next roof replacement;
2. The DRB notes that Landmark Premium is not currently available in Colonial Slate. If and when Landmark Premium, color: Colonial Slate becomes available, it is to be included as part of the cluster standards;
